Solid protection against M. hyopneumoniae infections
Both laboratory trials and field trials demonstrate solid protection against M. hyopneumoniae infections when using Porcilis M Hyo.

Rapid onset of immunity and significant protection up until slaughter
Onset of immunity - From 2 weeks after second vaccination.
Duration of immunity -protection proven for at least 20 weeks after second dose.

Porcilis M Hyo protects profits
Significant reduction in pulmonary lesions due to M. hyopneumoniae infection and consistently improved weight gain during the fattening period is seen even on farms with a low M. hyopneumoniae challenge.

No interference by MDA
Trial data indicate that the efficacy of Porcilis M Hyo is not affected by the presence of maternal antibodies at the time of vaccination:

• All field trials involving the vaccination of MDA+ pigs resulted in a significant reduction in lung lesions and a consistently improved weight gain during the fattening period.
• Results of vaccination/challenge studies were the same irresepective of the presence of MDA.
• There is no correlation between MDA levels at vaccination and the efficacy of Porcilis M Hyo.
